Just about everyone has had a house guest that couldn’t leave soon enough. A Bucyrus man discovered one in his bedroom Monday morning he kept there until police arrived.

The Bucyrus police report indicated a resident in the 100 block of South Spring Street called in just after 3 a.m. Monday that a man had broken into his home and he was holding the intruder until police officers arrived on scene.

Police found 27-year-old Christopher Gandstaff being held by the resident using a utility knife. Gandstaff was arrested and taken to the Crawford County Justice Center. The police report indicated the burglary charges may be filed against Gandstaff.

No one was injured in the incident.
