UPPER SANDUSKY — U.S. 30 eastbound, just east of U.S. 23, east of the city of Upper Sandusky is closed for an emergency culvert replacement.

An emergency repair project began immediately, and the eastbound lanes could reopen within two weeks.

Following completion, the culvert beneath the westbound portion will be replaced as well. One lane of traffic will be maintained in the westbound direction. The full project could potentially be complete within one month.

Kokosing, Construction Co., Inc., Columbus, will serve as the general contractor.

U.S. 30 eastbound from U.S. 23 northbound (for vehicles south of Ohio 294)

  • At the intersection of U.S. 23 and Ohio 294, go east on Ohio 294 to its intersection with Ohio 231. Travel north on Ohio 231 to its interchange with U.S. 30. Enter U.S. 30 eastbound.

  • At the interchange of U.S. 23 northbound and U.S. 30 eastbound, continue north on U.S. 23 to its interchange with Ohio 53. Exit and go south on Ohio 53 to the U.S. 23 southbound entrance ramp. Travel south on U.S. 23 to its interchange with CH 330. Go east on CH 330 to its intersection with Ohio 231. Go south on Ohio 231 to its interchange with U.S. 30. Enter U.S. 30 eastbound
