BUCYRUS―After a report of an impaired driver, Bucyrus Police officers stopped a vehicle matching the description given by the caller near United Bank on Friday evening.

At 5:55  p.m., the report was received about a possibly impaired driver in a white Dodge Charger. The vehicle was located and stopped in the 400 block of South Sandusky Avenue. A traffic citation was issued for driving under suspension and failure to reinstate a driver’s license.

9:55 a.m.-A report of a disturbance in the 600 block of North Sandusky Avenue was investigated. A profane patron at the hospital was escorted from the property.

2:35 p.m.-Officers assisted an elderly female that was lost in the 1600 block of East Mansfield Street.

4:02  p.m.-Officers investigated a juvenile complaint in the area of Gay Street and Kaler Avenu. People were illegally riding mini bikes in the Aumiller Park area and also in the area of Reid and Whetstone Streets.

5:27  p.m.-Officers investigated a juvenile complaint in the 400 block of Jump Street. Juveniles were knocking on a door and running. The juveniles were located and counseled.

9:59 p.m.-Officers responded to a disturbance in the 400 block of Charlotte Street. People were having a verbal argument about a CD player and one of the parties left the area.

10:02 p.m.-A resident in the 400 block of East Charles Street reported receiving threats from someone she knows to burn down her residence. Officers are investigating.

3:52 a.m.-A verbal domestic disturbance was investigated in the 400 block of West Mansfield Street.

11:12 a.m.-A resident in the 1000 block of Marion Road reported a credit card used fraudulently.

3:20 p.m.- A report of suspicious vehicles at Outhwaite Reservoir was investigated. A group of vehicles reportedly had congregated there. Only one vehicle was located.

3:24 p.m.- A traffic complaint was made in the 500 block of South Sandusky Avenue. A caller reported hitting a dog yesterday on Beal Avenue. The dog owner had been contacted and the motorist was reporting damage to their vehicle bumper of their Silver Kia.

5:12 p.m.-Officers responded to a domestic situation in the 400 block of West Mansfield Street. People were having a verbal dispute about infidelity. One of the involved parties had a visible injury self-inflicted from destroying their own property and punching a mirror and cutting their hand. The person was escorted to Bucyrus Community Hospital for treatment.

6:51 p.m.-Officers investigated a report of a suspicious person in the 1000 block of Tiffin Street. The people had permission from the owner to be at the property.

7:20 p.m.-Officers took a report of a missing juvenile. The juvenile was later located and returned home. Officers located the juvenile at 8:21 p.m. at the fifth possible location they had checked.

7:51 p.m.-Officers mediated a domestic issue in the 400 block of West Warren Street.

8:50 p.m.-Officers assisted Portsmouth EMS personnel in the North Lane and East Mansfield Street area with a disorderly client.

8:51 p.m.-A two-vehicle, non-injury crash was investigated in the South Poplar and West Center Street area. One of the vehicles remained at the scene to be retrieved in the morning.

8:56 p.m.-Officers responded to a disturbance in the 100 block of Emerson Street. A person was with a girlfriend when an ex-companion showed up and a dispute ensued. One of the people was warned regarding trespass on the property.

10:41 p.m.-Officers investigated a traffic complaint in the US 30 and North Sandusky Avenue area. A van was stuck under the US 30 freeway over North Sandusky Avenue and the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the scene.

11:24 p.m.-Officers assisted Portsmouth EMS personnel in the North Lane and East Mansfield Street area with a disorderly client.

12 a.m.-A commercial alarm in the 400 block of South Walnut Street was investigated. It was a false alarm.

10:16 a.m.-Officers investigated a report of a breaking and entering in the 800 block of Elm Street.

11:01 a.m.-Officers checked the 1300 block of Home Circle Drive regarding a tree that fell into the street. The city street department moved the tree off the road.

11:11 a.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the 1300 block of Monnett Street. Officers conducted a standby for the people while one of the parties left the area.

11:45 a.m.-Officers investigated a report of a vehicle damaged by a piece of plywood in the 700 block of East Mansfield Street. Plywood strapped to railings of a railroad overpass had broken loose and the railroad was contacted.

12:24 p.m.-Officers checked the 900 block of Hopley Avenue regarding a 911 hang-up in the area. No incident was located.

1:09 p.m.-The Crawford County Dog Warden’s office was contacted about an injured dog in the 500 block of East Charles Street.

2:43 p.m.-A report of a domestic dispute in the 1100 block of Dean Street was investigated. A man and woman were arguing and throwing objects and were walking towards Monnet Street. The people were not located.

2:58  p.m.-Officers investigated a report of plywood with nails in the roadway in the 700 block of East Mansfield Street. Officer removed the debris from the road.

3:08  p.m.-Officers investigated a report of the cover coming off the fountain at Millennium Park.

3:26  p.m.-Officers investigated a report of trespassing in the 1800 block of East Mansfield Street. A previously trespassed patron had refused to leave Walmart. The person finally left the area.

5:12 p.m.- A traffic complaint was investigated in the area of Woodlawn and Highland Avenues. Construction signs were down and they were put back into place.

5:35 p.m.- A domestic dispute was investigated in the 300 block of South Poplar Street. It was an unruly juvenile complaint.

8:31 p.m.- Officers assisted the street department with checking for a water leak in the area of South Sandusky Avenue and Lucas Street.

9:04 p.m.-Officers checked on an alarm in the 100 block of North Lane Street and it was a false alarm.

9:18 p.m.-Officer checked a residence regarding an open door. It was likely weather and wind-related.

9:35 p.m.-A complaint was received about a domestic issue in the 200 block of West Mansfield Street and a referral was made regarding a protection order.

12:41 a.m.-Officers mediated an unruly juvenile complaint in the 1500 block of Lakewood Drive regarding unauthorized use of a vehicle and the stay at home order.

2:16 a.m.-A caller reported a suspicious vehicle sitting in their drive with the engine running for 10 minutes and the vehicle had just left the area.

2:22 a.m.-Officers stopped a vehicle in the 2000 block of Marion Road regarding an earlier report of a suspicious vehicle.
