Galion City Council meets Tuesday and is prepared to make living and doing business in Galion easier and less expensive.
City Council members have seven legislative items on the agenda. Three of the four items up for a third and final reading all have to do with eliminating fees. Council will determine whether or not to do away with Commercial Building Department fees, Water Capacity charges, and Sanitary Sewer Capacity charges.
Also up for a third reading is amending the ordinance pertaining to election signs.
First readings include ordinances regarding discharging firearms, throwing or shooting missiles and the 2015 tax ordinance.
