The Board of Education for the Galion City School District is starting its day and ending the week with a full agenda at an early morning meeting.
The board’s 7 a.m. meeting today contains several personnel appointments for both certified and non-certified staff.
Superintendent Kathy Jenney will also recommend to board members that they approve collective bargaining agreements with both the Galion Education Association and the local for the Ohio Association of Public Employees. Both agreements are for one year without a raise in base salary.
Other items on the agenda include amended appropriations for this past fiscal year and temporary appropriations for the next fiscal year. The board is also scheduled to go into executive session for personnel reasons.
