BUCYRUS―A report of a stolen vehicle from Bucyrus resulted in the arrests of two teen girls.

The two juveniles, ages 17 and 13, were arrested at 11 p.m. Wednesday by the Fostoria Police Department with the stolen car from Bucyrus.

The stolen car had been involved in a hit-skip crash before noon on Wednesday. The girls were taken to juvenile detention awaiting a hearing in Crawford County Juvenile Court on Thursday.

8:59 a.m.-Officers assisted the Property Maintenance Officer on Warren and Fremont Streets.

9:43 a.m.-Officers picked up found property on Whetstone Street.

9:50 a.m.-A person came to the station and was served a traffic citation out of an accident that occurred yesterday.

10:33 a.m.-A private property accident report was taken in the 100 block of South Stetzer Road. A motorist struck a parking lot post.

11:01 a.m.-Officers investigated a report of a hit-skip crash in the Monnett and West Irving Street area.

2:02 p.m.-Officers assisted EMS personnel in the 100 block of Iron Street.

3:26 p.m.-A person came to the station to report a theft by check fraud.

3:38 p.m.-Officers investigated a report of a suspicious person in the Galen and Poplar Streets area.

6:18 p.m.-Officers investigated a parking complaint in the 100 block of East Charles Street. The owner moved it.

6:45 p.m.-Officers responded to a disturbance in the 1300 block of Whetstone Street.

7:28 p.m.-A person stopped at the station to discuss an unruly juvenile.

8:38 p.m.-A person stopped at the station to speak with an officer regarding an ongoing case. The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office attempted to locate reported missing juveniles in Oceola.

9:28 p.m.-Officers assisted a disabled vehicle in the East Mary and Lane Street area.
