BUCYRUS―Bucyrus Police were called to the 1200 block of Willard Street on Wednesday afternoon to assist EMS personnel with a person who was deceased.
According to Bucyrus Police Chief Dave Koepke, the Crawford County Coroner was called to the scene at 4:37 p.m. to assist in the investigation of the death of a person in their twenties.
“Anytime you have a death involving someone of a young age and there is not a clear sign of what caused their death, an investigation takes place,” said Koepke.
He said no foul play is suspected.

9:21 a.m.-Officers assisted a motorist whose vehicle had broken down in the 600 block of Whetstone Street. Officers pushed the truck to the side of the road until a tow truck responded to remove it.
11:52 a.m.-Officers assisted Mansfield Adult Probation in the area of Ann and Myers Streets. A suspect wanted by Richland County was located after checking several locations and taken into custody for transfer to Richland County.
1:16 p.m.-A person came to the station to report the theft of jewelry.
1:56 p.m.-Officers made a welfare check in the 500 block of South Spring Street.
1:58 p.m.-A Marion Road resident reported damage to her vehicle sometime on Wednesday.
3:36 p.m.-Officers took a report of a stolen dog in the 500 block of Union Avenue. The dog that on occasion runs loose was taken into custody by another resident who was not relinquishing possession of the dog.
4:02 p.m.-Officers investigated a report of a window tampered with on residence in the 1500 block of Rosedale Avenue.
4:06 p.m.-Officers conducted a welfare check in the Maple and Dudley Street area.
5:06 p.m.-A person stopped at the station to report telecommunication harassment.
7:24 p.m.-Officers assisted a broken down motorist in the Kaler Avenue and Wise Street area. The vehicle was towed from the area.

12:09 a.m.-A report of a suspicious vehicle in the 600 block of Virginia Avenue was investigated. The motorist in the area reportedly had a very loud muffler.
1:38 a.m.-Officers made a traffic stop and issued a warning in the 300 block of North Walnut Street. Kyler Randolph, 26, was arrested on a Crawford County warrant. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court.
5:02 a.m.-Officers checked the 1200 block of Home Circle Drive after receiving a report of a suspicious person in the area.
