GALION―A Galion woman was arrested Wednesday morning on a Richland County felony warrant.
Samantha Matney was arrested by Galion Police officers at 11:27 a.m. in the 100 block of South Street. She was held at the station until Richland County authorities were available to pick her up to take her to the Richland County Jail to be held for court.
The K-9 unit assisted at the scene of her arrest.

2:06 a.m.-A report of a suspicious couple at the Duke and Duchess Station was investigated.
12:51 p.m.-A report of an unruly juvenile was investigated in the 600 block of Grand Street.
5:05 p.m.-A welfare check was completed in the 300 block of East Parson Street.
6:26 p.m.-A report of the theft of exhaust pipes from O’Reilly Auto Parts, 730 Harding Way West, was investigated.
11:09 p.m.-A report of a loud banging noise at Cedargate Apartments turned out to be someone lifting weights.
