BUCYRUS―Three people were arrested during a search by Bucyrus Police of a High Street residence Tuesday evening.

At 6:50 p.m., local law enforcement officers searched the residence located at 804 High St. Six adult individuals were present at the house and there was evidence of drug paraphernalia.

Officers seized suspected methamphetamine and a firearm. Two adult males were taken to the Crawford County Justice Center for drug possession. A third adult male was taken to the Crawford County Justice for weapons under disability.

9:57 a.m.-Officers assisted the Galion Police Department in attempting to serve a citation in the 100 block of Heritage Circle.

10:38 a.m.-A hit-skip accident in the 300 block of Lawn Avenue was investigated. A parked car was struck sometime overnight.

10:47 a.m.-A 16-year-old female was arrested for disorderly conduct in the 900 block of West Perry Street. She was released to her parents pending a court appearance.

11:03 a.m.-Officers investigated a private property accident in the area of Whetstone and East Mansfield Streets.

1:38 p.m.-Officers responded to a domestic violence complaint and a person involved had left the scene on a bicycle. He was located in the 1000 block of Hopley Avenue. John W Stewart, 50, was arrested on a charge of domestic violence and taken to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held for court.

2:43 p.m.-A report of vandalism was made in the 500 block of South Sandusky Avenue.

4:01 p.m.-Officers assisted EMS and Bucyrus Fire Department personnel in the 500 block of Woodlawn Avenue with a child that was reportedly not breathing. The child was choking on a marble.

4:37 p.m.-Officers spoke with a person at the station regarding scam calls.

5:13 p.m.-Officers investigated a disturbance in the 100 block of West Oakwood Ave. It was a verbal domestic dispute.

6:18 p.m.-Officers investigated a juvenile complaint in the 700 block of Beverly Drive.

7:32 p.m.-A hang up 9-1-1 call was investigated in the 700 block of South Poplar Street.

11:14 p.m.-A resident in the 400 block of Heritage Circle reported someone she knows trying to get into her house. The person had left the area before officers arrived.

11:18 p.m.-A disturbance in the 1000 block of Hopley Avenue was investigated. A resident was accidentally locked out of their home.
