GALION―Two people were arrested on misdemeanor warrants by Galion Police on Tuesday afternoon.

At 2:32 p.m., Alexis Kouns and Jarrod Simpson were arrested the warrants in the South Market Street area. Kouns was issued a court date and Simpson posted bond.

7:47 a.m.-A report of a suspicious person in the 100 block of Portland Way North was investigated.

11:02 a.m.-A report of fraud was investigated in the 200 block of Gelsanliter Road.

12:13 p.m.-A Nazor Road resident reported their cat stolen by someone they know.

5:33 p.m.-An officer gave a woman a ride back to her vehicle after being taken by EMS personnel to Galion Community Hospital and treated.

5:50 p.m.-A report of someone using drugs in a room at the Rainbow Motel was unfounded after the room was searched and no drugs were located.

10:23 p.m.-Officers assisted the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office in the Portland Way South area.

11:05 p.m.-Drugs confiscated during a traffic stop in the South Union Street area were sent for testing.

11:08 p.m.-A report of loud music was investigated in the Crew Avenue area. One person was issued a verbal warning for loud music.
