BUCYRUS―Bucyrus Police addressed more calls on Monday that stemmed from high winds that ripped through the area throughout the day.
At 10:31 a.m., a report of property damage due to the winds was taken in the 400 block of Kaler Avenue. In the evening, officers picked up a construction sign that had blown into the road in the East Southern and Hopley Avenue area.

9:24 a.m.-Officers made a welfare check in the 400 block of North Sandusky Avenue.
9:32 a.m.-Officers made a standby on Plymouth Street.
11:58 a.m.-Officers were called to assist EMS personnel at Heartland of Bucyrus.
12:07 p.m.-An open door on a building was checked and secured.
12:21 p.m.-Officers made a welfare check in the area of Pinewood Apartments.
2:59 p.m.-Officers spoke with a person at the station in regards to a theft.
6:39 p.m.-Officers responded to a report of what sounded like gunshots in the South Walnut and South East Street areas.
8:07 p.m.-A report of a suspicious person was investigated in the 100 block of Franklin Street.
9:28 p.m.-A traffic citation was issued in East Mary and North Lane Street area.
9:44 p.m.-Officers investigated a disturbance in the 100 block of South Stetzer Road.
