ONTARIO — An autopsy was completed on the body of a Crestline man, according to the Richland County Coroner’s Office.
According to Richland County Coroner’s Office investigator Bob Ball, an autopsy was conducted Thursday on Daniel Carpenter by the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office. Carpenter was found this week in Ontario after being reported missing.
Crestline Police Department Chief Jeff Shook said Carpenter was reported missing Dec. 23.
Ball said, though the autopsy was completed, results of the complete autopsy, including a toxicology report would most likely not be available for 5-6 weeks.
He said Carpenter’s death is being investigated as a suspicious death.
A request for additional information has been made to the Ontario Police Department and will be released as it is received.
