GALION — One man was transported to the hospital after a single-vehicle crash on U.S. 30 on Monday morning.
Just before 10 a.m. Monday, a 75-year-old Shelby man was traveling eastbound on U.S. 30 when he drove a tan Chrysler Town and Country into the median and into a guardrail under the Fairview Road overpass.
According to the Crawford County Sheriff’s deputies on scene, there were no apparent injuries caused by the crash. The cause of the crash was unknown at time.
The man was transported to Avita Health System – Galion Hospital by Portsmouth Emergency Ambulance Service.
U.S. 30 eastbound was reduced to one lane near the scene as crews were present.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol and Jefferson Township Volunteer Fire Department also responded to the scene.
Ronk’s Towing removed the vehicle from the scene.
