GALION―Galion Police are investigating an incident that occurred in the 400 block of Libby Lane at around 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
A resident reported their door kicked in by a male. After he gained access to her apartment, he took the woman’s phone. Officers arrested the man on a charge of criminal trespass.

10:22 a.m.-A report of a suspicious man was investigated in the 700 block of Carter Drive. The man was released to relatives after it was determined he experiencing a health issue.
11:17 a.m.-A Galion High School employee reported that two iPhones were purchased through the school’s credit card.
11:20 a.m.-A parking complaint was investigated in the 400 block of North Market Street.
1:14 p.m.-A North Columbus Street resident reported someone has been using their social security number and attempted to take money from their bank account to open a new account through CitiBank.
2:20 p.m.-A non-injury accident was investigated in the Portland Way North area. Jammy Borders was issued a citation for assured clear distance ahead.
7:15 p.m.-A welfare check was conducted on a couple living in a tent in the 200 block of Railroad Street.
8:32 p.m.-A non-injury accident was reported in the East Atwood Street area and one person was issued a citation for a stop sign violation.
9:36 p.m.-A report of a suspicious vehicle at the Peco II ballfield was investigated. The driver advised they were playing Pokemon Go.
