LEXINGTON — Upper Sandusky’s boys swim team saw one meet record and one school record be rewritten as 10 meet records were broken at the Friendly House Invitational on Saturday.

Upper Sandusky’s Will Barnes broke the meet record in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 55.52, breaking the previous mark of 56.61 set in 2016.

The Rams also broke a school record in the 400-yard freestyle relay with the team of Gage Frey, Ethan Collins, Brody Williams and Will Barnes finishing in 3:34.23, breaking the previous mark of 3:36.05 set in February by Jacob Newsome, Seth Rothlisberger, Frey and Williams. Before the 2018-19 season the record stood for a decade.

Galion and Upper Sandusky both finished in the top five in the boys and girls final standings and Bucyrus finished 8th in the girls meet and 12th in the boys meet.
