BUCYRUS — The Bucyrus Police Department is investigating a bicycle-vehicle crash that happened on West Lucas Street near South Poplar Street on Wednesday afternoon.
Officers were called to the scene of the accident at 2:41 p.m. and found that Wesley Efaw, 28, Bucyrus, had ridden his bicycle into a moving vehicle driven by Almando Ramirez, also of Bucyrus.
According to the police department, Efaw was walking around at the scene after striking the van Ramirez was driving but was complaining of injuries.
He was taken by Portsmouth Ambulance to Bucyrus Community Hospital for treatment.
No citations have been issued as the investigation is still underway.
