BUCYRUS-Whetstone Township Volunteer Firefighters responded to a fire at Hornak’s Refrigeration on Ohio 19, east of Bucyrus, on Monday afternoon.
The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office is assisted at the scene with traffic control as firefighters made their way into the area.
According to Whetstone Township Firefighter Steve Jones, the cause of the fire stemmed from oil in a tank that spilled near a wood burner and caught fire.
“There was a small amount of damage to the inside of the building, mostly smoke damage,” Jones said.
Firefighters were on the scene for about an hour and no injuries were reported.
