6:55 a.m.-Dylan R. Newsome was issued a citation for speeding in the 100 block of Portland Way North.
7:04 a.m.-Officers assisted Children Services personnel in the 200 block of East Payne Avenue.
9:10 a.m.-A drug investigation in the 300 block of Grove Avenue led to the arrests of Brandon A. Gillespie, 36, on a probation violation and Dalton W. Allen, 18, for possession of drugs.
9:14 a.m.-An attempted break-in of a vending machine at East Park was investigated.
12:08 p.m.-A report of a student in possession of vape and cigarettes was investigated at Galion Middle School.
2:18 p.m.- A report of a student in possession of vape was investigated at Galion High School.
2:59 p.m.-An officer assisted the city building inspector in delivering paperwork in the 200 block of Grove Avenue.
3:09 p.m.-A welfare check was conducted in the 300 block of Oak Street.
5:47 p.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the 100 block of Easton Way. Both parties were issued warnings for disorderly conduct.
7:45 p.m.-A South Boston Street resident reported a dead cat hanging in a tree.
8:24 p.m.-A report of an unruly juvenile was investigated in the 100 block of Easton Way.
8:47 a.m.-A report of a phone scam was investigated in the 200 block of Portland Way North.
9:07 p.m.-A report of a reckless driver was investigated in the 700 block of Harding Way West. The motorist was taken to the Galion Community Hospital by EMS personnel for medical reasons.
11:03 p.m.-A report of a loud generator running in the 800 block of South Boston Street was investigated.
11:32 p.m.-Jerri P. Dix-Mahoney, 32, Galion, and Shaun A. Arthur, 37, Mansfield, were arrested in the 100 block of North Liberty Street for possession of drugs and parole violations.

2 a.m.-A report of a disorderly, intoxicated man at Circle K was investigated. Greg A. Kelly, 50, Galion, was arrested for public intoxication and disorderly conduct. He was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center.
2:46 a.m.-Charles W. Garverick, 44, Galion, was arrested for disorderly conduct and public intoxication at Circle K.
10 a.m.-James M. McCall, 36, Galion, was arrested for the sale of liquor to an underage person in the 200 block of South Street.
1:24 p.m.-Rickey L. Akers Jr., 34, Galion, was arrested for operating a vehicle under the influence and possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop in the 700 block of Maple Heights.
1:47 p.m.-Matthew T. Burchett, 37, Galion, was arrested for disorderly conduct by intoxication in the 800 block of Harding Way East.
2:06 p.m.-A worker in the 1200 block of Dawsett Avenue reported a ladder stolen from a worksite.
4:43 p.m.-A disturbance at Little Caesar’s Pizza was investigated.
7:30 p.m.-A report of possible child neglect was investigated in the 300 block of Fairview Avenue.
7:59 p.m.-A disturbance involving juveniles that were yelling and screaming in the 100 block of Harding Way East was investigated. They were advised to keep the noise down or they would be charged.
8:10 p.m.-Matthew A. Knipp II, 33, Crestline, was arrested on a warrant in the 300 block of Harding Way West.
9:13 p.m.-Darel Owens, 53, Galion, was arrested on a warrant in the 300 block of Harding Way East.
9:46 p.m.-Bhim R. Pokhrel was issued a citation for speeding on Portland Way South.
10:09 p.m.-Officers delivered a message to a resident for the Marion Police Department in the 1000 block of Harding Way East. Cory Dean, 30, Galion, was also issued a court date on an active warrant.

12:28 a.m.-A report of an unruly juvenile was investigated in the 300 block of Harding Way East.
11:57 p.m.-A report of an unruly juvenile was investigated in the 300 block of Cherry Street.
12:22 p.m.-A report of an unruly juvenile in the East Park area was investigated.
1:21 p.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the 400 block of Portland Way North.
6:49 p.m.-Bryce C. Barnhart was issued a citation for driving under suspension on North Jefferson Street.
7:25 p.m.-A syringe found in a yard in the 200 block of South Pierce Street was turned over to officers for proper disposal.
8:23 p.m.-A welfare check was conducted on a dog in the 300 block of West Atwood Street. The owner was told to turn down the shock collar and was warned for disorderly conduct.
9:33 p.m.-A disturbance near Circle K was investigated and the three people being loud were told to keep it down and move along.
9:41 p.m.-Officers assisted the Galion Fire Department with a stove on fire at a residence in the 600 block of South Market Street.
