Break out the cowboy boots and hats – country singer Aaron Tippin has been announced as the Friday night act at the 2014 Bucyrus Bratwurst Festival.
Tippin first stormed onto the country music stage in 1990 with his hit “You’ve Got to Stand for Something.” He would later follow that up with “There Ain’t Nothin’ Wrong with the Radio,” “That’s as Close as I’ll Get to Loving You,” “Kiss This,” and “Big Boy Toys.” He also penned “Where the Stars and Stripes and the Eagle Fly” in response to the 9/11 attacks. Tippin has toured Iraq and Afghanistan to sing for the troops.
FCBank will once again open up its parking lot for the free concerts on Friday and Saturday nights. Bratwurst Festival Director Larry West said they have not yet signed an act for the Saturday night show.
The adult and child poster contests and the button design contest will once again be open to competitors. Call the Bratwurst Festival office at 419-562-2728 or stop by the office located at 330 S. Sandusky Ave., Bucyrus.
This year’s Bratwurst Festival theme is “The Big Brat Theory.”
