Colonel Crawford’s Derek Burkhart’s three-pointer with 35 seconds left Wednesday night lifted the Eagles to a 47-42 victory over Buckeye Central. It was the second straight game the Eagles came from behind to win after trailing in the fourth quarter.

Trailing most of the night, the Eagles league-leading defense held Buckeye Central to two fourth period points as they came back from a seven-point deficit to post their eighth win of the season with one loss and improve to 6-0 in N-10 play.

Burkhart led all scorers with 19 points including five three-pointers with Owen Adams adding 10.

Buckeye Central was led by Grant Loy’s 13 points and Scott Heydinger with 10 as the Bucks move to 5-4 on the season and 4-2 in the league.

Colonel Crawford won an exciting JV game as Ethan Studer put back a missed shot with 35 seconds left for a 28-26 win.
