The Crawford County Special Response Team has had a busy two days. After arresting a Galion woman on charges of drug trafficking Tuesday, the Special Response Team hit the First Ave Search 08-19-15 (2)streets once again to execute a search warrant Wednesday morning.

The Crawford County Special Response Team, consisting of officers from the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office, the Bucyrus and Galion police departments, the Bucyrus and Galion fire departments, and the METRICH Enforcement Unit, executed a search warrant at 520 First Ave. in Galion in regards to a heroin trafficking investigation. Pursuant to the search officers recovered heroin, prescription drugs, syringes, and drug paraphernalia.

Thirty-nine-year-old LaRonda Clark and 41-year-old Robert Nead, Jr., both residents of the First Avenue address, were taken into custody and transported to the Crawford County Justice Center. Clark was charged with possessing drug abuse instruments and permitting drug abuse while Nead is facing a trafficking in heroin charge.

In unrelated incidences, Bucyrus police arrested 48-year-old Terry Hildebrand Tuesday evening on charges of disorderly conduct and drug paraphernalia. He was issued minor misdemeanor citations and transported to the Crawford County Justice Center to be held until sober.

Forty-seven-year-old John W. Smith was arrested by Bucyrus police on charges of disorderly conduct by intoxication just before 4 a.m. Wednesday. He was issued a minor misdemeanor citation and transported to the Crawford County Justice Center.
