Two men up on community control violations in Crawford County Common Pleas Court both finished the day with prison sentences.

Thirty-one-year-old Kyle McClintock of Galion admitted to violating his community control on two separate cases. McClintock, who pleaded guilty to drug possession in 2013 and 2014, was sentenced to 10 months on each charge. The prison sentences will be served consecutively for a total of 20 months.

Douglas Caudell Jr. of Shiloh admitted to resisting lawful arrest, changing his address without permission, failing to report to office visits, and failing to comply with his substance abuse counseling. The 37-year-old man, who already received a chance after violating his probation at the beginning of the year, was sentenced to 11 months in prison.

“Times have changed around here,” Judge Sean Leuthold said with a small shake of his head. McClintock and Caudell both sat in the courtroom as Leuthold warned them that he would not tolerate that kind of behavior.

Twenty-two-year-old Dakota Commodore of Crestline admitted to violating his diversion program and Judge Leuthold accepted the guilty plea Commodore submitted in 2014. Leuthold continued Commodore’s bond and ordered a pre-sentence investigation to be completed.

It was the second probation violation go-round for 26-year-old Sarah Lewis of Bucyrus. Lewis, who was on probation for an aggravated assault felony, allegedly tested positive and admitted to using THC, was arrested for criminal trespassing, possessed marijuana, and tested positive for Buprenorphine.

Judge Leuthold appointed Geoffrey Stoll as her attorney and set bond at $150,000.
