Seven people indicted by the Crawford County Grand Jury were arraigned on felony charges Monday, including a father and son and Dennis Heefner.
Heefner, 18, was indicted on a fifth-degree felony for inducing panic. Heefner allegedly caused serious public alarm by threatening harm when he posted “bout [sic] to shoot up Galion schools” on Facebook on March 3.
Though the threats were made against the Galion school district, Heefner, who had previously resided in Crestline, was found in Loveland, just outside of Cincinnati.
“These allegations are extremely serious,” Common Pleas Court Judge Sean Leuthold said, echoing what his brother, Municipal Court Judge Shane Leuthold, told Heefner just 11 days ago. “I have to make certain I’m doing the right thing in protecting our children.”
Leuthold set bond at $150,000.

Raynor and Shawn Lehr, father and son, were both arraigned on second-degree felony charges stemming from an incident that took place on Dec. 6.
Raynor Lehr was charged with complicity to commit felonious assault after he allegedly used a megaphone to encourage a fight. He retained Columbus-based attorney Douglas Shaw and was released on a personal recognizance bond.
The son, Shawn, could receive a maximum prison sentence of eight years after being charged with felonious assault. With multiple past felonies, including forgery, improperly handling a firearm, and burglary, Leuthold set bond at $100,000.
A complete list of those arraigned on Monday, the offenses they were charged with, and bonds that were set are: Dennis Heefner, F5 inducing panic ($150,000); Raynor Lehr, F2 complicity (personal recognizance); Dillon Miller, F3 tampering with evidence and F5 trafficking in drugs ($100,000); Andrea Lohr, F5 drug possession and misdemeanor drug paraphernalia (personal recognizance); Josh Rowlinson, F3 tampering with evidence ($100,000); Michael Spencer, F5 drug possession ($75,000); and Samantha Wilson, F5 criminal non-support (personal recognizance).
Six additional cases remained sealed, according to Crawford County Prosecutor Matthew Crall.
