Crestline Village Council met in regular session on Monday, Feb. 20. All members were present.

Crestline Police Chief Joe Butler reported a suspect has been identified as the possible perpetrator of a purse-snatching outside the Rite Aid store, in Crestline on Wednesday, February 1. The victim was an elderly woman. She was robbed of her purse, but was not injured.

Butler told council on Monday a suspect was identified and charges would be filed soon.

There have been no arrests or charges in the case yet. The suspect was not named publicly.
