Monday was arraignment day in Crawford County Common Pleas Court. While the number of drug-related offenses were minor in comparison with other arraignment days, sex offenses involving children were notable because of the high bonds set by Judge Sean Leuthold.

Nathan McIe

Nathan McIe is charged with two counts of felony 1 rape with specifications meaning the maximum sentence on each charge is life in prison without the possibility of parole. McIe’s new indictment also included a felony 5 charge of disseminating material harmful to minors which carries a maximum sentence of 12 months in prison.

McIe has a pending case of felony 1 rape. Crawford County Prosecutor Matthew Crall explained the new indictment came about as a result of additional evidence being collected in the pending case and his office wanting to accurately bring charges in accordance with that evidence. The victim in the allegations against McIe is under the age of 13.

Adam Stone will continue to represent McIe and the judge continued McIe’s existing $3 million bond.

Ryan Noe

The other case involving alleged sex offenses is against Ryan Noe. Noe was listed in The Crestline Advocate as currently being Crestline’s Most Wanted. He is charged with felony 2 pandering obscenities involving a minor. The maximum sentence for that charge is eight years in prison. Judge Leuthold appointed Joel Spitzer to the case and increased the bond set earlier in Municipal Court from $750,000 to $1 million.

The other case involving a high bond was not about sex offenses, but did emanate from Crestline.
Ryan Stiltner is charged with felony 2 robbery from a case that dates back to Feb. 1. Stiltner is charged in a purse snatching
