The wheels of justice may not always turn smoothly but they do keep turning and did so Monday in Crawford County Common Pleas Court. Seventeen people were arraigned on felony charges ranging from felony domestic assault to drug possession to selling a vehicle without a title.
Bond for Daniel Scales of Bucyrus was set at $500,000 on a charge of domestic violence and intimidation. Scales allegedly assaulted the victim and then threatened her should she report the incident to police.
Bond for Justin Blankenship was set at $250,000 on a charge of failure to comply. Bryan Miller is charged with burglary, grand theft, possession of criminal tools and breaking and entering. Miller was apprehended near Chatfield by a sheriff’s deputy who noticed an open door to an establishment before normal business hours. Miller’s bond was set at $100,000.
