Four people were sentenced to lengthy prison times Wednesday afternoon after violating the terms of their community control.
Twenty-one-year-old Jacob Diemer admitted to bringing marijuana into a drug treatment program he was ordered to take part in. Other allegations were dismissed as part of his agreement.
“Clearly you have messed this up horribly,” Judge Sean Leuthold said.
Diemer was sentenced to serve the remainder of his four-year prison sentence. He served 11 months of the original sentence, but was granted judicial release as part of the original agreement set in place under former Judge Russell Wiseman. That sentence will run consecutive to a 12-month prison sentence leveled against him in Richland County. He will also serve three years on mandatory post-release control after his prison sentence.
Diemer was one of the men who burglarized Lucky’s Cash and Carry in Tiro in 2014.

John Kenny avoided prison in 2013 when he admitted to an assault he could not remember, but he was not as lucky Wednesday.
The 25-year-old Bucyrus man admitted to testing positive for marijuana on Feb. 22. Leuthold sentenced Kenny to 18 months on each aggravated assault count for a total of 36 months in prison.

Jerry Brown did not take advantage of his two chances on community control and was sentenced to a total of 20 months in prison.
Brown, 46, of Bucyrus, had been placed on community control for two separate drug cases in 2014, but was sentenced to prison Wednesday after he admitted to violating his community control. The violations included causing physical harm to another and testing positive for marijuana.
The agreed sentence included 10 months on each drug possession count in the 2014 case for a total of 20 months in prison. An additional 12-month prison sentence came with the 2013 drug possession case, though that will be served concurrently to the 2014 case.

Shara Skaggs received five years on community control during her sentencing hearing. The 34-year-old Galion woman pleaded guilty to felony 5 drug possession in February.
“This is one of the best chances you’re going to have to straighten this out, Ms. Skaggs,” Leuthold said as he ordered her to be placed on his Intensive Supervision and Treatment program.
In addition to community control, Skaggs will have to serve 60 days in the county jail. She will receive credit for time already served. Skaggs was also fined $1,250 and had her driver’s license suspended for six months.
