A Plymouth home was the site of a meth lab bust for the second time in two years.

12-2-2015 Arrendondo (1)The Ohio Adult Parole Authority contacted the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office just after 8 a.m. Thursday to assist in a home visit at 8023 ½ Ohio 103, Plymouth. While issuing a search warrant at the residence, law enforcement discovered methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and chemicals to manufacture methamphetamine.

Officers from METRICH Clandestine Lab Unit and the Tiro-Auburn Township Fire Department were called to the scene to clean up the hazardous materials.
Twenty-five-year-old Nickolas Thomas Brian Arrendondo was arrested on a parole violation. He was also arrested in April of 2014 for running a meth lab at the same residence. He was subsequently charged with the illegal possession or 12-2-2015 Arrendondo (2)assembly of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs, a third-degree felony, and drug possession, a fifth-degree felony, though he only pleaded guilty to the third-degree felony.

Arrendondo was sentenced to 36 months in prison in May of 2014 and was granted judicial release this past March after serving nine months of that sentence. The early release was part of his original plea bargain.

Meagan Marie Rastetter, also a residence of the home, was arrested on a felony five charge for drug possession.

The Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the case to present to the Prosecutor’s Office for additional charges on both suspects.
