The Pickle Run Festival is returning to Galion’s Heise Park this weekend. The two-day festival will offer plenty of food and fun.
Saturday’s activities include the YMCA 5K Run and Walk at 8:30 in the morning. A Punt, Pass and Kick competition for kids will be held at noon at Unkrich Stadium. An old favorite, the Anything Goes team competition, comes back with a vengeance at 4 o’clock in the afternoon.
A teen dance and swim will be at the Heise Park Pool beginning at 7 Saturday evening and at 9:30 there will be a an outdoor family movie behind the YMCA.
Sunday’s activities include a car and cycle show at the Galion Senior Center, a disc golf tournament at the Amick Reservoir course, a volleyball tournament in the park begins at 1, a 2 o’clock parade, Galion Graders baseball beginning at 7:05 in the evening followed by fireworks.
