A backyard fight last week between teen girls in Galion was so brutal that one of them was flown by medical helicopter to Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
The injured girl is 16-years-old and reportedly suffered multiple internal injuries.
The fight took place last Wednesday afternoon and was reported to Galion police approximately three hours later by an adult who was shown a video taken of the fight in which three girls can be seen repeatedly kicking and beating the victim after she was knocked to the ground.
Galion police are investigating the incident to learn more, but neither police nor Galion City School officials could confirm rumors regarding a fight club in which people pay to participate as well as watch.
