Press release
On Saturday March 4, Crawford County Farm Bureau is pleased to invite the public to attend the annual Farmers Share Breakfast.
Breakfast will be served in the Colonel Crawford Hannah Crawford Elementary School Cafeteria from 7-10am.With a cost of just $1.00, you will be able to enjoy made-to-order omelets, danishes, and sausage. The $1 cost represents the portion of the meal cost that actually returns to the farmer. In addition to breakfast, there will also be several area businesses in attendance with displays featuring farm safety and farm education.
“Farmers and ranchers remain committed to producing safe, healthy food for consumers, and we share with consumers many of the same concerns about putting nutritious meals on the table on a tight budget,” says Becca Kocher, Breakfast Chair for the Crawford County Farm Bureau. “By inviting consumers to our Farmers Share Breakfast, we hope to connect with them and provide a better understanding of the origins of the food on their plates.”
