The Crestline Santa Parade is this Sunday and, though old St. Nick will be on the mind, the nutritional welfare of Crestline children is also playing a big role.
The Santa Parade begins at 2 p.m. Sunday in front of the Crestline Administration Building. While that is going on, there will also be a Fill the Truck event to support the Crestline Backpack Program. Fill the Truck will take place at 2 p.m. at the Santa House.
The following is a list of suggested items to donate: Easy Mac, Kraft Mac & Cheese box or bowl, Pasta Roni, Velveeta Shells & Cheese, Tuna snack, StarKist lunch kits, StarKist tuna, Hormel Compleats entrée, Spaghetti O’s, Chef Boyardee cups and cans, Ramen noodles or Instant Lunch cups, Campbell’s Soup and Soup on the Go, Pop Tarts, cereal, oatmeal, cereal bars and granola bars, fruit cups, Go Go Squeez, fruit snacks, small boxes of dried fruit or raisins, pudding, Nutella mini cups, Jif To Go cups, cheese crackers, or assorted chips.
Donations should not include glass or jars but monetary donations are also accepted. For more information contact Zita Miller at 419-683-3005.
