Court date set for Galion men charged in Ontario bank robbery

Taylor Crisman and Chris Hill of Galion are scheduled to go to trial on Oct. 13 on charges related to the robbery of KeyBank in Ontario. The trial will be held in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, Eastern Division.

Crisman and Hill are charged with bank robbery and kidnapping for holding the bank manager’s family hostage and forcing him to get them nearly $195,000 from the bank. They are also charged with threatening a potential witness.

The incident occurred on Nov. 6 of last year and the two were apprehended in December in Galion and arraigned the same month.
