Tradley Thompson may now regret not following his duty to register.

Thompson appeared in Crawford County Common Pleas Court Wednesday afternoon to plead guilty to attempted failure of duty to register, a reduced felony four charge.

The 23-year-old Bucyrus man was sentenced to 18 months in prison with credit for 71 days in jail. He was also fined $750.

Samantha Matney appeared in court for an initial hearing for her community control violations. The 33-year-old Galion woman allegedly committed numerous violations on May 24 by possessing drug paraphernalia, resisting arrest by the Galion Police Department, possessing heroin, and testing positive for heroin, cocaine, and benzodiazepines.

Attorney Tim O’Leary was appointed as Matney’s attorney. Her bond was set at $75,000, due to the assistant attorney’s belief that she was a flight risk.
