Thirty-eight-year-old Khabeer Brown faces a potential prison sentence of 45 years as a result
of a five-count indictment. Brown was arrested when law enforcement officers executed a search warrant on March 22 at houses owned by Brown in both Bucyrus and Galion.
The street value of the drugs confiscated in that drug bust totaled an estimated $366,000. The amount of drugs confiscated made four of the charges in the indictment first-degree felonies.
Brown is charged with three counts of first-degree drug possession for heroin and cocaine, one count of first-degree drug trafficking, and one count of fifth-degree drug trafficking. All four first-degree felonies carry a major drug crimes specification which make an 11-year- prison sentence mandatory if convicted. The fifth-degree charge also carries a forfeiture specification.
Adam Stone was appointed to represent Brown and bond was set at $3 million.
