Bucyrus is welcoming a new business to the community today.

Air Force One is a heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) service company. As a privately and family-owned service company, Air Force One provides mechanical services for commercial and industrial businesses.

Originating from Columbus, Air Force One wanted to expand to areas that are oftentimes overlooked. Therefore, Joe Ford, a resident of Bucyrus, was asked to open a new regional branch in order to reach the smaller towns and expand their business.

According to Ford, this new regional branch will be expanding their client base to Marion, Upper Sandusky, Bucyrus, Ontario, Mansfield, Galion, and Mt. Gilead. Ford was excited to be able to expand their clientele to local and nearby cities.

As a 20-year business man of the HVAC industry, Ford is committed to providing the best work possible to his customers. Ford said he is extremely passionate about the community and firmly believed in doing everything possible to help it thrive.

“We moved here 20 some years ago to raise our family in this small community because I fell in love with it when I found my wife here. We do everything we can as locally as we can . . . The main reason I took this opportunity is because I believe in spending money where you live,” Ford explained.

Ford thought that opening a local branch of Air Force One would help him encourage those in the community to stay local for more of their business needs. Air Force One will be one of the businesses based in Warren Place, 121 W. Warren St. Warren Place will have a ribbon cutting ceremony at 10 a.m. on June 1.
