Agencies and organizations serving area elementary age children and their families are invited to participate in the 8th Annual Bucyrus United Methodist Church (BUMC) Back to School Supply Carnival and Information Fair to be held Thursday July 28 from 3-6 p.m. on the lawn of BUMC’s Outreach Center, 216 Hopley Ave., Bucyrus. Free basic school supplies are provided to financially struggling families with home schooled, parochial, and public school children in kindergarten through elementary grades residing in Bucyrus, Wynford and Col. Crawford school districts.

BTSSC and info fair VERTICAL WITH CHURCH NAMEThe Info Fair consists of more than 33 vendors who distribute information and prizes so area residents can learn what services are available. We annually reach hundreds of families with the help of agencies and organizations such as Affinity Healthworks, the Bucyrus City Schools programs, Crawford County Children’s Services, the Bucyrus Public Library, Help Me Grow, Community Counselling, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, the YMCA, BORN, local Fire Departments and Law Enforcement, ADAMHS, and many more.

Bucyrus UMC is led by Pastors Mike Corwin and Becky Smithey.  Everyone is welcome to Sunday worship services on at 8:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and The Touch at 5 p.m. at the Worship Center, 227 S. Walnut, Bucyrus.  The Worship Center and Outreach Center are handicapped accessible and air-conditioned; portions of the service may be signed.  A staffed nursery is provided.
